• Available to families conducting business at the courthouse & annex building
• Not available for children of jurors or attorneys

• Open to Children from 6 months to 12 years old
• Located on the first floor of the Judicial Center, near the cafeteria.
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

1. Whoever checks the child(ren) in, must be the one to pick them up or tend to any needs the child may have while in Safe Harbor.
2. Parent/adult may not leave the courthouse building for any reason. This includes going to another county building within the complex or outside for a cigarette.
3. Parent/adult must tend to diapering needs while the child is in Safe Harbor.
4. Parent/adult will be given a pager. Pager must be returned upon completion of courthouse business. If pager is not returned, you will be billed $200 for it’s replacement.
5. The pagers are specially programmed. Please do not touch any of the buttons on the pager.
6. If your are needed in safe harbor for any reason, you will be paged. The page must be answered immediately.
7. When your courthouse business is completed, you are required to immediately return to Safe Harbor.
8. If your location in the courthouse changes, you must notify Safe Harbor.
9. Safe Harbor closes promptly at 4:30 p.m.
10. In the event of an evacuation, the children & safe harbor staff will be taken to a pre-determined safe location, accompanied by an armed deputy, and will return to Safe Harbor after it determined to be safe to do so.

1. La persona que registre al nino(a) o ninos al entrar , debe ser la persona que los recoje y la persona que atiende a sus necesidades durante el tiempo que se encuentren en Safe Harbor.
2. El padre/adulto no puede salir del edificio por ninguna razon. Esto incluye salir a fumar.
3. El padre/adulto debe encargarse de cambiar al nino(a) mientras esten in Safe Harbor.
4. Cuando su caso en la corte se termine, debe regresar a Safe Harbor a recojer a su nino(a) inmediatamente.
5. Si el lugar de corte cambia, usted debe notificar a Safe Harbor lo mas pronto posible.
6. Si se le necesita en Safe Harbor , le llamaremos por el “pager”. Usted debe contestar la llamada inmediatamente.
7. Los “pagers” estan especialmente programados. Por favor, no toque los botones del “pager”.
